The benefits of firefighters using drones

The London Fire Brigade has realised the benefits of using drones, allowing a more efficient method of saving lives.

According to the London Fire Brigade website, there are two types of drones at their disposal. One is the DJI Matrice 210 and the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual.

So what are the benefits we hear you ask? Well, using these particular drones that fly up to 400ft above ground and can fly as fast as 51mph in an emergency.

They can allow Firefighters to see very clear imagery from the two cameras on each Drone and also has the capabilities to act as ‘a loudspeaker to give instruction or reassurance.’

In many situations, an area within a burning building can be dark and hard to see, meaning there is always a possibility that the human eye can potentially miss something. But these drones can shine a ‘bright spotlight in dark or low light conditions.’

The thermal imaging camera can detect heat sources, such as humans or animals or in fact, it can be used to check the temperature of cylinders that are ‘at risk of exploding.’

Does the experience of  a drone pilot differ for use in emergencies?

In a bid to operate the drones, a pilot needs to have completed a week long training course and another training course is required for night flying.

Each drone is operated by at least minimum of two people, one who flies the drone and one person who operates the camera.

The Rise of Air Taxis: Revolutionizing Transportation in Countries

Air taxis, once a concept confined to the realm of science fiction, are now becoming a reality in countries around the world. These innovative vehicles combine the convenience of a taxi with the speed and flexibility of an aircraft, promising to revolutionize the way we travel. In this blog post, we will explore the efforts made by various countries to implement and embrace this futuristic transportation technology. 1. Israel Israel is leading the way in the implementation of air taxis. Recently, the Israeli government has approved trials of air taxis in the country, and numerous companies have sprung up to provide these services. The goal is to alleviate traffic congestion and provide more efficient transportation by rapidly transporting people through the air. Companies like Urban Aeronautics and EVTOL are in the lead of such efforts, with Urban Aeronautics developing a compact version of its Cormorant unmanned vehicle that can carry up to two people, while EVTOL is partnering wi

The Most Immersive Flying Experience!!

FPV drones are quickly becoming a huge trend within the drone industry. What is a FPV drone? FPV stands for first-person view. Flying an FPV drone, means that the pilot see’s what the drone sees.   Traditional drones are flown through the pilot’s perspective on the ground. FPV drones are piloted through the perspective of the drone via an onboard camera that is placed on the drone and transmits a livestream straight to FPV goggles, a headset, a smartphone device, or other screen. FPV drones offer the pilot a much more immersive flying experience, which can be shared with anyone watching the video captured.   The benefits of flying an FPV drone?   An immersive experience that uses technology to provide pilots with the most futuristic viewing. Precise flying and better accuracy allowing quicker reactions and better awareness of surroundings. Allows the pilot to capture stunning aerial images and video footage. Can be flown indoors as well to showcase the internal features of a

The Rise of Swarm Drones in Entertainment: A Spectacle in the Skies

In recent years, drone technology has taken centre stage in the entertainment industry, captivating audiences with breath taking displays and mesmerizing performances. Among the most cutting-edge developments in this field is the emergence of swarm drones – a fleet of synchronized drones that work in perfect harmony to create stunning aerial displays like no other. From illuminating the night sky with intricate light shows to forming 3D shapes and breath taking patterns, swarm drones are transforming the way we experience entertainment. Mesmerising Drone Light Shows One of the most popular uses of swarm drones in entertainment is the creation of mesmerizing aerial light shows. By attaching LED lights to each drone, these formations can paint the night sky with dazzling colours, forming ever-changing patterns and shapes. The synchronized movements of the drones, combined with the vibrant light display, create a visual spectacle that leaves audiences in awe. From fireworks-like explo
